As experience days go a tandem skydive has to be one of the most memorable. Imagine the thrill of boarding an aircraft and slowly climbing to around 13,000 feet, all the while knowing that in a matter of minutes the participants will be hurtling towards the ground at speeds of around 120mph.
The rush of adrenaline as the group step off the plane is incredible, they then free fall through the air for the best part of a minute through a rush of wind and noise before the professional instructor opens the parachute and the atmosphere suddenly changes to one of complete peace and tranquillity.
A tandem sky diving experience gift has to be one of the ultimate thrills around and is quite simply something which will never be forgotten.
The day will begin with a safety briefing and pre jump training from the instructors before the group boards the aircraft and begins the ascent. Participants are attached to an expert instructor with a dual harness meaning that very little training is required for this exhilarating activity gift.
The tandem skydiving activity gift will last around 1-2 hours but set aside a full day in case of adverse weather.
This experience day is available on selected dates, Monday to Sunday, March through to November
This event is subject to appropriate weather conditions.
Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch.
This event may not be suitable for those who suffer from a fits, head injury, epilepsy, recurrent blackouts, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease and disease of the brain or nervous system. There is a maximum weight restriction of 15 stone.
All participants must be at least 16 years old and everybody under 18 must parental consent.
Under 18's must provide a BPA fitness form signed by their guardian plus a consent to parachute, other paperwork may also need to be provided such as doctors certificates, details will be provided nearer to the time.
These sessions are on a one to one basis but other people will be there on the day.
