Ever wondered what it would be like to be a zoo keeper for the day? Well now's the chance to find out with this exciting zoo keepers experience gift certificate. The lucky participant will get to see behind the scenes as they follow a zoo keeper on their daily rounds.
The zoo experience involves getting up close and personal with a wide variety of animals where aspects of animal care will also be experienced. Such duties include cleaning out enclosures, food preparation, feeding time, helping with daily events and much more! Lunch is also included in the day pass so there is no need to arrange a packed lunch. Unfortunately there will be no active involvement with any carnivore sections due to health and safety.
This is a full day event.
Bookings can be made all week throughout the year. Weekends are often busier and bookings are subject to availability.
This activity is carried out within the zoo grounds. It is therefore advised to dress for both indoor and outdoor events.
Family and friends are welcome on the day where normal admission prices will apply.
No fitness requirements are needed in order to take part.
Participants must be at least 14 years of age.
No previous qualifications or experience are necessary.
This is not a group activity.
