Experience flying like never before with this fantastic indoor skydiving experience. The participant will learn exactly how it feels to fly by jumping onto the airflow of a turbo wind tunnel, similar to those used for testing the aerodynamics of an F1 racing car. It's simply been turned upright to create the perfect skydiving conditions. An ideal gift for anyone desperate to experience the thrill of free fall in a completely safe environment.
The skydive lesson starts with a short class and video introduction before collecting the flight gear. The group then enters the wind tunnel where everyone takes it in turns to have a go at flying. Each person is entitled to two flights of one minute each, equivalent to about three tandem skydives. The first flights offer the basic techniques of freefall where there is time to master the freefall position. Finally a memorable DVD is handed out to remember the experience.
The whole experience last for approximately one hour and includes 2 flights of 1 minute each.
Bookings can be made on selected dates during off peak times, throughout the year.
Spectators are welcome to attend on the day.
A reasonable level of fitness is required to participate in this activity and there is a maximum weight restriction of 114kg (18 stone). Not recommended for pregnant women, anyone suffering from a dislocated shoulder or wearing a hard cast.
The minimum age is 5 years old and under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
No previous qualifications or experience are necessary.
There will be other people in the group but only one person flying at any time.
