The hot air balloon ride floats high above the treetops and drops low enough to skim the hedgerows. There really is no better way to enjoy the magical silence and tranquil views of hot air ballooning than with a glass of champagne in hand!
This fantastic gift certificate allows the voucher holder to help inflate the hot air balloon before taking to the sky for an hour's flight. Flying over fields, hedgerows and villages, the world will seem to slide slowly on by. Upon cruising altitude, the champagne will be popped to enjoy a traditional champagne toast. The balloon ride finally brings everyone back down to earth where they will be presented with a flight certificate signed by the pilot and Sir Richard Branson. A fantastic reminder of a truly tranquil experience.
The balloon flight lasts approximately 1 hour but allow 3 hours in total for the whole experience.
Morning bookings only Monday to Friday all year round, depending on each location. The best flying months are from April to October.
As this is an outdoor activity it is advised to dress according to the weather. Temperatures are likely to drop as you reach higher altitudes.
Spectators are welcome to come along on the day to watch. Many people also enjoy following the flight path of the balloon in their own vehicle.
The flight must not be undertaken by anyone who is pregnant, suffers from epilepsy, or who have heart or medical conditions. There is a minimum height restriction of 1.38m (4ft 6") and a maximum weight threshold of 114kg (18 stone).
16 years of age and over. Please not that 8 to 16 year olds may attend but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
No previous experience of qualifications are necessary to take part in this activity.
There may be a maximum of 15 other people in the basket during the flight.
