Take driving experiences to the next level with this outstanding racing car day at Silverstone. It's not every day people get the chance to feel the thrill and excitement that goes with getting behind the controls of a real single seat race car. These vehicles are built for speed, their incredible lightweight design and amazing amount of power allows acceleration like never before, feel the thrill that comes as standard with such an amazing activity gift idea.
This isn't quite Formula 1 driving but to the untrained participant it's very close, the handing abilities and power that are at the drivers disposal far surpass anything they are likely to have experienced before. These vehicles aren't built to be practical, they’re built to be fast and that's exactly what they are, very fast.
Steering one of these beasts around any track is a thrill but to be powering a racing car around Silverstone circuit, possibly the most famous racing track in the UK is quite simply a brilliant track day activity by anyone’s standards.
At the start of the day the participants receive a short briefing on driving techniques and safety procedures. Initially drivers have a pace car which they must stay behind until they get used to the vehicle, eventually though they are let loose to put the car to the test without the pace car. The day ends with a debrief, driver assessment and certificate presentation.
The racing car driving session lasts around 2 hours including briefing and debrief.
