Karting is seen as the gateway into the world of motorsport, this is a thrilling challenging and competitive sport which will test the drivers nerve and skill to the max. Flying around a circuit at top speed only a matter of inches from the track is a go karting experience the participants will not be forgetting in a hurry that's for sure. This is an opportunity to take to the track and race against your mates in an unforgettable driving thrill.
All karting sessions begin with a briefing on the rules and safety procedures, as well as this there will be some basic training so drivers understand the controls and then everybody will be kitted up in their safety gear. Usually the session will involve a series of heats, semi finals and a grand final although this can vary between venues and can be dependent upon group size.
Depending upon the location and the group size this driving activity will last between 1 1/2 and 4 hours.
Availability throughout the year on selected dates
On outdoor tracks this event will be dependent on the weather.
You can bring along friends and family to observe at the venue.
Karting experiences can be quite physical and may not be suitable for people with weaker arms. The activity may not be suitable for people with heart complaints. Participants must be over 4 foot 4 inches but no taller than 6 foot 6, the weight limit is 18 stone.
While some venues allow 16 year olds to race most require participants to be at least 18.
You do not need a driving licence to do this activity.
There may be up to 100 people at the venue at any one time
