Activity Description - Clay Pigeon Shooting - Full Day Course

Clay Pigeon Shooting is still the most popular and fastest growing of all country pursuits.

This one day course will introduce the novice to all aspects of clay shooting from learning the Clay Pigeon Shooting Associations approved method, correct stance and posture, safe handling of a shotgun, to shooting ground procedures and etiquette.

The shooting school provides all relevant equipment including eye and ear protection. All instructors hold nationally recognised qualifications. Recoil training cartridges are used to ensure that everyone shoots in comfort.

Itinerary

09:30 Arrive at shooting ground – morning coffee
10:00 Introduction & Briefing
10:30 Period of instruction
12:30 Return to club house for lunch
13:30 Return to shooting area for second period of instruction & friendly competition
15:30 Return to clubhouse for tea and cake, issue of certificates of attendance
16:00 Depart for home

What to Wear
You should wear comfortable casual clothing depending on weather and should always take some form of wind/waterproof coat, a baseball cap or similar and appropriate footwear that ideally is waterproof and provides ankle support.
