Driving through some of the toughest woodland terrain in the UK delivers a palm sweatingly realistic day you won’t forget in a hurry! Our instructors are experts in classic Scandinavian loose surface rally driving and will demonstrate and teach you the techniques:- the pendulum, handbrake turn, power slide and more…..
The full days tuition uses either an RS2000 for rear wheel drive or an Astra for front wheel drive.
With a maximum of five clients using one car, the day starts at 9.00am with a short theory session including instructional video and then onto the forest - the one-day course starts in a 2 mile forest stage in the morning before progressing to the classic 6 mile forest stage that is used by the top professionals!!
Enjoy the thrill of doing handbrake turns and taking part in a timed competition to decide on the course winner. The winner of the timed competition wins a bottle of bubbly and there are certificates for all competitors.
The day (lasting 6-7 hours) includes the exciting finale with you as passenger being driven by our professional instructor at full rally speed through our stage.
Drivers must hold a full driving licence - for at least 1 year.

Important All drivers must have held a full driving licence for at least 1 year and produce it on the day. Drivers should be able to drive a manual car.
Spectators: For safety reasons you are limited to a maximum of 2 spectators at a cost of £10.00 per person (payable on day).We do not advise babies or small children to attend. There is nothing for non-participants to do other than watch. Please advise the centre direct no less than 5 days before regarding spectator numbers. No dogs are allowed.
Availability: The experience runs seven days a week year round
Numbers On The Day There will be a ratio of approx 5 drivers to 1 instructor
The Weather: Although this event is not weather dependant extreme conditions may result in cancellation due to dangerous driving conditions e.g. fog, flooding, high winds etc. If unsure contact the centre on the day.
What To Wear The shoes you wear are the most essential items. Many styles of trainer are NOT suitable as the soles are too thick or too wide. Squash shoes are good, as are narrow fitting thin-soled shoes. Please bring good warm outdoor clothing, especially in winter as the forest is high (1500 ft) & exposed. You will not be able to participate if the correct type of footwear is not worn - If unsure contact the school in advance for advice.
Additional Information Alcohol is strictly forbidden - If the instructor smells drink your experience will be cancelled on the spot.
Motor sport can be dangerous. Although we make every effort to ensure your safety, accidents can occur.
Therefore we require the participants to read, understand and sign a disclaimer before taking part.
Please ensure you arrive on time. Failure to do so could mean that you forfeit your course. The learning stages are 4 miles from the meet point and it is important to leave on time.
Please advise the centre direct no less than 5 days before if you require vegetarian food options.
