Activity Description - 1/2 Day Rally Driving

Learn to drive, control and race Rally Cars over loose and tarmac stages in this fantastic 1/2 day lesson.

You will learn the essentials of skid control, navigating a course at high speed and effective braking and accelerating.

On the track you will receive a mind-blowing and hair raising chauffeur driven tour with your instructor, then its down to you to put all you have learnt into practice. A fantastic and exhilarating experience!

Timings are 09:00-13:00 or 13:00-17:00. The session will round off with a certificate presentation as a memento of the day.

Drivers Licence
All drivers must be able to drive a manual car & bring a current driving licence.

Numbers On The Day
Usually a ratio of 5 drivers to 1 instructor.

The Weather
Although rally driving is not weather dependant extreme conditions may result in cancellation due to dangerous driving conditions e.g. fog, flooding, ice etc. If unsure contact the centre on the day.

What To Wear
On the day you are advised to wear comfortable casual clothing with long sleeves and trousers. Experience has shown that narrow, thin soled footwear which allows you to feel the pedals are best - trainers with thick soles or work boots are not suitable.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome at all the centres although there will be a an additional cost of approx. £10.00 (dependant upon centre) to cover cost of refreshments and insurance. This will be payable on the day. Full details will be included in your confirmation pack. Please note for insurance purposes all sites are unable to admit children under the age of 16 as spectators. Video cameras and still cameras may be used.

Alcohol
Alcohol is strictly forbidden - if the instructor smells drink your course will be cancelled on the spot.
