Learn the secrets of skid avoidance and driving safely on ice or in slippery conditions during this 2 hour course.

A high percentage of accidents involve some form of skid and aside from the fun hands on element of this lesson could save your life!

It’s every drivers nightmare – you’re coming round that familiar corner and suddenly the rear of the car appears to have a mind of it’s own as you hit black ice or a patch of spilt diesel or mud.It doesn’t happen very often but if it did would you know what to do?

Our experienced and fully qualified instructors will explain how and why a skid occurs before introducing you to one of our special skid control vehicles with a cradle that can reproduce different conditions such as ice or water.

After a demonstration by our instructor, it’s your turn to have ago. Before long you’ll be deftly getting to grips with an oversteer slide and emergency braking.

Learning is great fun and this hands on course could prove to be invaluable! Drivers will receive a certificate upon completion.
