Activity Description - Diamond Country Vehicle Challenge

This action packed Diamond Country Challenge is guaranteed to reach the part other activities can't reach. The 7 hour session comprises:

  • Quad Wrangling
  • Clay Pigeon Shooting - (50 clays)
  • Archery
  • Mini Mavriks
  • Hovercrafts
  • plus a filling 3 course lunch.

    Quad Wrangling - Open the throttle and hack across our one and a half mile all terrain track. Our fleet of quad bikes (80-125 cc) with safety gear provided makes it one of the largest quad centres in the UK. You'll be taught how to ride and handle these four wheeled 'go anywhere' beast before heading for the purpose built course comprising areas such as the Water Splash, Mud Bath & Dust Bowl.

    Clay Pigeon Shooting - A sport of great skills that favours those with a cool unflustered attitude when things are happening fast. Full instruction from our ever watchful instructor.

    Archery - An ancient sport that has moved with the times but the essence of archery remains. Learn the basic skills under individual tuition before a mini competition.

    Mini Mavriks - High-adrenalin, Kendall designed, custom off-road minis. 1000cc engine, single seat with full race harness and roll cage. The minis handle rough terrain well and they will need to on this testing course.

    Hovercrafts - Hovering 6 inches above the ground and travelling at 40mph this is the highlight of every session.

    Crossbow Shooting - The crossbow has come along way with modern technology and is awesomely powerful. We have set up our shooting gallery in a horseshoe shaped quarry with a selection of life sized targets of animals to practice with.

    All drivers must be able to drive a manual car & bring a current driving licence.

    Spectators:
    Friends and family are welcome as spectators at no additional cost. However the site is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

    What To Wear:
    Crash helmets and overalls are provided on the day. In our experience it’s always best to prepare for a worst case weather scenario. So wear old clothes shoes/ boots that you don’t mind getting dirty and a change of clothes/ shoes for the journey back just in case. A handy item to remember is a plastic bin bag to store any wet items.

    Alcohol:
    Is is strictly forbidden for any participants to use any equipment under the influence of alcohol.

    Weather Conditions:
    Certain weather conditions may render a particular activity impossible. In such a case we will offer the option of additional time on one or more of the other activities.
