Learn to drive, control and race giant JCB excavators.

This is one of the most unusual events you are ever likely to try, it is with good reason that this is known as The Ultimate Challenge!!

You will be let loose on these giant yellow excavators on a purpose built race track and compete dexterity tests and an assault course over this day long event.

  • The race director conducts a full safety and rules briefing.
  • The race format will consist of thrilling heats and a final.
  • The sprint race is followed by the dexterity test using the front loader!
  • You will then put your machine to the test on the assault course.
  • A superb Barbecue lunch is included in the price.
  • A personalised certificate is awarded to each participant.
  • Spectators are welcome to partake in the Barbecue and bar facilities, (details of additional charges available on request).

    Min Age:

    17 years old.

    You must hold a full driving licence.

    Weather:
    The weather may affect this experience and it could be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous. Please call the centre if weather conditions are extreme (e.g. heavy snow, flooding, high winds).

    Duration:
    The event last approx 4 ½ hours including lunch, briefings, training and prize giving.

    Spectators:
    Spectators are welcome and you are allowed up to 4 on the day. There is a charge of £15 per adult and £5 for children (to be paid on the day). Children under the age of 4 are not allowed on site.

    What To Wear:
    Please make sure that racers & spectators wear suitable clothing & sensible footwear for the day. We suggest you bring walking boots/Wellingtons and warm waterproof jackets. The event is held outdoors on farmland with limited facilities so you will probably get muddy if the weather is poor. We suggest you bring a change of footwear and a bag to store any muddy items.
