Activity Description - 4x4 Driving Experience (Half Day)

The thrill of 4x4 Off Road Driving cannot be rivalled for sheer excitement and white knuckled tension.

Do you own a 4x4, long to know what it is capable of, but don't want to risk damaging it! OR Are you some one that simply enjoys their driving and is always looking for new experiences and challenges?

If so this half day 4x4 Experience is for you!

By the end of the course you will be able to understand the main principles of driving off-road, recognise a safe environment and typical ground conditions, have experience of safety operating a vehicle off-road in varying conditions & situations, (e.g. slopes, ditches, ruts, etc.)

The course will cover the following areas:

  • Your 4x4 and how it works
  • Basic safety checks
  • Vehicle familiarisation
  • Hill use, (failed hill climb and safe descents)
  • Ruts and tram lining
  • Crossing ruts, ditches and mounds

    At the end of the session you will be presented with a certificate to commemorate your experience.
